The software used in computers at cable headends to generate scrolling channel guides.
There have been several different iterations of the Prevue software running under two different platforms. The various different software versions share some important similarities like their scrolling guide, satellite data format, and the incoming data indicator next to the current time internally referred to as "blinky."
EPG Channel
- EPG Jr. (Atari 8-bit-based)
- EPG Sr. (Amiga 1000/2000-based, came in full-screen and split-screen versions)
Prevue Guide (Amiga 2000-based)
- Prevue List (1988-1993)
- Prevue Grid (1993-2000)
Sneak Prevue (Amiga 2000-based)
- Sneak Prevue List (1991-2002)
