The parent company of [[Prevue Networks]]. Acquired [[TV Guide]] from News Corp in 1999 and subsequently changed its name to TV Guide Inc. In mid-2000, TV Guide Inc. merged with Gemstar, forming Gemstar-TV Guide International, which lasted until 2007, when it was acquired by Macrovision, now Rovi. Rovi retained the patents and interactive software, but spun TV Guide Magazine and the TV Guide Channel (now the TV Guide Network) off to OpenGate Capital and Lionsgate respectively.
